SPOUSE/GUEST PROGRAM

Wednesday, September 11; 9:00am – 12:00pm
Spade & Palacio Mural & Street Art Tour

Over recent years Saint-Laurent Boulevard has been transformed into the country’s premier street art corridor. Since the creation of the first graffiti culture gathering over 20 years ago, the more recent MURAL Festival, municipal and public non-profit organizations, our city, and rightly so, has become a world leader in the urban arts scene.

Shortly after the founding of Montreal, the Main became an important dividing line between east and west, French and English. Thanks to the growing immigrant communities along the thoroughfare, the artery ironically created a gathering point for all citizens.

Today, centuries later, these works of art are once again grouping locals and visitors, homebred artists and international, to congregate in the middle of where it all began. This is a vibrant street art walking tour along St. Laurent Boulevard and its impressive outdoor art gallery.

Thursday, September 12; 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Ateliers & Saveurs Montreal

Cooking class, cocktail class and wine tasting all in three hours!  You will get to learn how to make one cocktail and 5 Tapas. After all your hard work, enjoy everything including a sweet Tapa made by your Chef.

Friday, September 13; 8:30 – 12:00 pm
Explore Montreal On Your Own!

  • Want a little bit of everything?  Old Port Montreal has just that!  Everything from experiencing the culture in may restaurants, explore by foot, bicycle or Segway, shopping, river activities and cruises, and zip lines!
  • Montreal has many museums to explore!
  • Here are some coupons from the CVB for some local restaurants, museums, shopping, guided tours, and more! (please let us know if you want to use these, we will give you a letter of attendance of the convention).
