Last month, NAFA member and CEO of Quality Filters, Inc. George Spottswood was appointed to the National Institute of Standards & Technology Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NISTMEP) Advisory Board. NISTMEP’s mission is to enhance the productivity and technological performance of U.S. manufacturing. They are a national network and the only public-private partnership dedicated to serving small and medium-sized manufacturers. The organization has centers in all 50 states and in the US Territory of Puerto Rico.

Spottswood has been a NAFA member since 1982 and is a CAFS. He currently serves on the Guidelines Committee and was on the NAFA Board of Directors as Associate Council President from 2002 to 2004. He was also the Convention Chair for the 2004 Technical Seminar.
