INDOOR AIR 2018, the 15th edition of the flagship conference of the International Society for Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ), will be hosted by Drexel University at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA, on July 22 to 27, 2018. Dr. Michael Waring (Drexel University) and Dr. Brent Stephens (Illinois Institute of Technology) — two regular speakers at NAFA Technical Seminars and both previous grantees of the NAFA Foundation — are serving as the Conference President and Technical Program Chair.
The biannual INDOOR AIR conference series is one of the largest gathering of indoor air scientists, researchers, and practitioners in the world. INDOOR AIR 2018 will feature a full program including 10 distinguished plenary speakers, platform and poster presentations of accepted technical papers, social activities to foster networking and community, and the second offering of the ISIAQ summer school for students and post-docs. More than 800 attendees from the global indoor air research and practitioner communities are expected.
Technical paper presentations are organized into 10 tracks, including: air cleaning and filtration, building simulation and CFD, chemistry and transformations, comfort, productivity, and perception, concentrations and exposure, energy, climate change, and policy, health effects and epidemiology, microbiology and dampness, sources and emissions, and ventilation and HVAC systems.
Perhaps most relevant to the filtration community, there will be over 70 presentations and posters on the topic of air cleaning and filtration alone. The other technical tracks also offer unprecedented opportunities to learn about the state-of-the-art of indoor air research and practice.
There are also exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities still available. Conference Exhibitors will have a standardized platform for exhibiting their company’s products and services in our Exhibitor area. Conference Sponsors have the option of choosing from a tiered structure of sponsorship opportunities with increasing amounts of visibility on conference promotional materials. Some Sponsorship levels also come with Exhibitor registrations, and Exhibitors can also choose to be a conference Sponsor. If you are interesting in sponsoring the conference, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for an informational packet.
