COVID-19 Code of Conduct

Masks will be mandatory during TECH2021 regardless of the mask mandate status in Arizona. Please be sure you are comfortable with our Code of Conduct and are willing to sign the COVID-19 Waiver before registering for the 2021 Technical Seminar.

NAFA is preparing the 2021 Technical Seminar experience so that all individuals on-site, attendees, speakers, staff and venue personnel remain safe, healthy and comfortable throughout the event. The NAFA Board of Directors has considered the desire of members to meet and conduct business in a COVID-19 compliant setting at the 2021 Technical Seminar. The health and safety of our members is our top priority. Please note that this will be a mask mandatory event in all areas of the hotel, including the meeting room and outdoor space. Dr. Joseph G. Allen, Assistant Professor
Harvard’s T. H. Chan School of Public Health

Dr. Joseph G. Allen is an associate professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and co-author of Healthy Buildings: How Indoor Spaces Drive Performance and Productivity. At Harvard, Dr. Allen directs the Healthy Buildings program, where he created ‘the 9 Foundations of a Healthy Building’. He is also a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Deputy Director of the Harvard Center for Education and Research on Occupational Health and Safety. Dr. Allen has been a leading voice in the response to COVID-19. He is an expert member of the Lancet Commission for COVID-19, and has been advising CEOs across major sectors of the economy: healthcare, academia, finance, media, manufacturing, courts, prisons, shelters, and the arts. He has also been translating the science to the business community and the general public, publishing more than 10 op-eds in leading newspapers translating science into actionable tips for the public.

Register as a virtual attendee and you will have access to all the excellent training sessions presented to in-person attendees. You’ll also be able to revisit the sessions, at no charge, on our YouTube channel, after the conference.

Your virtual attendance registration includes access to educational sessions via Zoom and a link to recordings post-event if you’re unable to attend during session times.

Regular registration deadline is April 19, an additional fee applies to any registration after April 19. Confirmed registrations must be canceled in writing by April 19 receive a full refund, less a $50 cancellation charge. No refunds shall be made for cancellations after April 19. Substitutions are allowed.

Should a government advisory or any other decision by the host hotel or NAFA prevent this meeting from taking place in-person, the meeting will be canceled and your registration fee will be refunded in full.
