Andrew Justice received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of Richmond (Richmond, VA) in 2006. He pursued a Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts (MLA) with a focus in romantic literature with a thesis on William Wordsworth and the paradigm shift in literature leading to the acceptance and change in science prior to the cell theory.
Andrew entered medical school at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and graduated in 2012. If you need a doctor, you will find him practicing at University of Utah Hospital and Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. While he is skilled in all aspects of medicine, his current residency training is in a combined board certification in both Internal Medicine as well as Pediatrics. His research interests are in the genetic mutations leading to aggressive and systemic disease with Haemophilus Influenzae serotype A, and the relation to mutations found in Haemophilus Influenzae serotype B which is prevented by vaccination. His goal is to proceed into Internal Medicine and pediatric practice with a focus on tropical medicine, infectious disease, and public health. Andrew is single and living in Salt Lake City.
